Q: WHAT IS A PROFESSIONAL PET SITTER?
A: A pet sitter is someone who, by agreement and for a fee, goes to a pet owner's home, provides basic and specific pet care, dog walking services, basic home security and anything else which sitter and client have agreed to. A true professional is always insured and bonded and a member of a professional pet sitting organization, such as Pet Sitter's International.
Q: HOW DOES THIS WORK?
A: At GiGi's at Home Pet Care, LLC, we specialize in midday walks and playtime for dogs. The way it works is that I come to your home for a free initial visit to meet you and your dogs and you all get to meet me. I will learn their routine, ask who their Vet is, any health concerns, location of leashes, location of food, and lots of other important details about the care of your pet. The initial visit generally lasts 30 to 45 minutes.
Q: HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
A: Fees are based on a "per visit" rate. End the end of your free initial visit, you will receive a price per visit quote.
Q: ARE YOU CERTIFIED IN PET FIRST AID AND CPR?
A: I am certified in both Pet First Aid and Pet CPR, and those who work for me are also certified as well.
Q: HOW DOES SCHEDULING WORK?
A: We're flexible with scheduling and can cover 1 to 5 days per week, depending upon your needs. Our visits are approximately one half hour in length (unless additional visit time is requested). During that time, we can provide a variety of services, such as playing in the yard, walking on a leash, feeding, refreshing his water, turning lights on or off, etc. Whatever services work best for you and your dog.
Q: CAN YOU WATCH MY DOG WHEN WE GO AWAY?
A: For our "daily" Monday - Friday midday customers, we also provide other day coverage, weekend and vacation coverage (However, we only provide this service to customers who use our daily midday service). We also have a discounted rate for customers who use us five visits a week or more.
